The Writers' Union of Canada offers funding to hosts for authors to read in public venues across Canada and schools in Ontario. To be eligible for funding, authors must be members of The Writers' Union of Canada. To verify if an author is a member of the Union, please see members' pages.

Remember to have all applications into the office four weeks in advance of the reading in order to have enough time to advertise for the event. Send all application forms to the Toronto office. They can be mailed or faxed:
